Can I pay my rent online?
Yes! You will be provided a login to the RentCafe Resident Portal where you can pay your rent.
Is the community pet friendly? What are the deposits / fees for pets?
Yes, our community welcomes your furry friend! Our community has a one-time pet fee of $400.00 for the first pet, $250.00 for the second, with a $25.00 pet rent, per pet, per month. The pet weight limit is 100 lbs. While we love all animals, certain breeds are restricted. These include: Tosa Inu/Ken, American Bandogge, Cane Corso, Rottweiler, Doberman, Pit Bull, Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Boer Boel, Gull Dong, Basenji, Mastiff, Perro de Presa Canario, Fila Brasiliero, Wolf Hybrid, Caucasian Oucharka, Alaskan Malamutes, Kangal, German Shepherd, Shepherd, Chow, Spitz, Akita, Reptiles, Rabbits, and Pot-Bellied Pigs. Mixed breeds containing these bloodlines are also restricted.
What is the security deposit?
Currently, the security deposit for a one-bedroom apartment home is $300.00 and $400.00 for a two-bedroom apartment home.
Are utilities included in the rent?
Utilities are not included in your monthly rent. Additional fees apply.
Is parking included?
Our community offers a maximum of two surface lot parking spaces.
What documents are needed to apply for an apartment?
When you are ready to apply, please have the following documents for a smoother application process: a U.S. government-issued photo ID (driver’s license or passport) and proof of employment, such as paycheck stubs or an official offer letter. A rental, criminal, and background check will be processed through a third-party agency.
What is the income requirement?
To lease an apartment home, your gross monthly income must be 2.5 times the monthly rent. For example, if the apartment home is $1,000.00 per month, your proof of income must show a gross monthly income of $2,500.00.
What types of apartment homes are available?
East Ponce Village offers a variety of spacious floor plans ranging from one- to three-bedroom apartments to suit your lifestyle. These well-appointed homes range in size from approximately 750 to over 1,400 square feet.
Is there parking available or EV charging stations?
Our community provides convenient on-site parking for residents and their guests throughout the property. While we do not currently offer EV charging stations, our prime location provides easy access to various charging hubs located within the Stone Mountain area.
What public transportation options are available nearby?
Residents have convenient access to the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) system, with several bus stops located just steps away from the community on East Ponce de Leon Avenue. These routes provide direct connections to the Indian Creek MARTA Station, making commutes into Decatur and downtown Atlanta easy and convenient.
What school district serves East Ponce Village?
Our community is served by the DeKalb County School District, which offers a variety of educational programs for local students. The closest schools include Hambrick Elementary School, Stone Mountain Middle School, and Stone Mountain High School. Please note that school attendance boundaries may change, and we recommend contacting the school district directly to confirm current assignments.
